Dr. Ronald Chwang (Observer) Ronald Chwang is the Chairman and President of Acer Technology Ventures, America (now called IDSoft Capital). Dr. Chwang initiated the Acer venture investment activities in North America with the launch of a $40 million "Acer Technology Venture Fund" in 1997. Subsequently, ATV's investment scope was further expanded after the successful formation of the second fund, a $260 million "IP Fund One", in May, 2000 together with new investment activities in key regions of Asia Pacific. Dr. Chwang currently serves actively on the board of a number of ATV's portfolio companies such as Reflectivity, iRobot, Centrality Communications, and WiQuest. He also serves on the board of the following public companies: Silicon Storage Technology Inc., Sunnyvale, CA and ATI Technologies Inc., Ontario, Canada. From 1992 to 1997, Dr. Chwang was president and CEO of Acer America Corporation. Under his leadership, Acer America's revenue grew from $200 million to $1.44 billion. Dr. Chwang has been with Acer since 1986, serving in various executive positions leading business unit engaged in ASIC products, computer peripherals, and Acer-Altos server system. Before joining Acer, Dr. Chwang worked for several years in development and management positions at Intel in Oregon and Bell Northern Research in Ottawa, Canada. Dr. Chwang received his B. Eng. Degree in Honors Electrical Engineering from McGill University in Montreal, Canada and his Ph.D. in EE from University of Southern California.

Thomas C. Dolson (Director) - PARTNER, ADAMS STREET PARTNERS - Mr. Dolson is responsible for sourcing and executing private equity investments in the telecommunications, semiconductor and computing industries. Mr. Dolson currently serves on the Boards of Directors of Actelis Networks, Inc., Enfora, Inc., USBid and WiQuest Communications Inc. Mr. Dolson led Adams Street Partner’s investments in Danger Inc. and Montalvo Systems and follows several other portfolio companies for Adams Street Partners, including Alien Technology, Cybera Inc. and New Path Ventures. He was previously on the board of 0-IN Design Automation (acquired by Mentor Graphics) and was involved in monitoring Adams Street Partners' investments in Cbeyond Communications (NASDAQ:CBEY) and Synchronoss Technologies (NASDAQ: SNCR). Dolson holds a BE from Vanderbilt University, magna cum laude and received his MBA with honors from Northwestern University.

Jim Gauer (Director) – MANAGING DIRECTOR, PALOMAR VENTURES – Mr. Gauer is an international venture capital fund manager with expertise in the telecommunications and software industries, Gauer has been the chief executive officer of several successful companies in both the US and Europe and has established himself as one of the leading information technology investors in the Southern California region. A founding partner of Palomar Ventures, Gauer combines strong technical and management background with a solid record as an investment professional to guide and oversee the investment strategy for the fund. Prior to forming Palomar Ventures, Gauer led early-stage information technology investments for Enterprise Partners Venture Capital. As managing director of Enterprise Partners, Gauer assisted in the growth of the company to its current position as one of the foremost Southern California venture funds with more thamiJ .n $750 million under managemeGauernt. led investments in such market leaders as Borland, Isocor, Digital Style (now Netscape), Active Software (now webMethods), Efficient Networks, and Rendition (now Micron). He currently serves on the board of one public company - webMethods (NASDAQ: WEBM) - and eight private companies: Dorado, Composite Software, KnowNow, Intersperse, Lombardi Software, Alterpoint, WiQuest holds a BA in mathematics from UCLA and was a PhD Candidate in Mathematics and Philosophy at Johns Hopkins University.

Michael J. Hogan (Director) Mr. Hogan is the CEO of PulseCore Semiconductor, a leading provider of standard and custom high-speed and low-power analog and mixed-signal silicon solutions for EMI reduction, clocking, power management and system monitoring. Prior to joining PulseCore, Hogan served as CEO of SiRiFIC Wireless, a privately held fabless semiconductor company that designs and develops CMOS RF transceiver integrated circuits for multi-mode mobile devices. While at SiRiFIC, Hogan lead the company from a university spin out to an RF supplier to top-Tier 3G OEM's. Previous to joining SiRiFIC, Hogan was General Manager at Texas Instruments, Wireless Networking Business Unit, managing over 150 employees and five R&D facilities worldwide. While at Texas Instruments, Hogan also served as general manager of the Broadband Services Unit; additionally he spent nearly ten years in the sales organization where he was responsible for the North American sales strategy for the Network Communication IC segment. Hogan holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Syracuse University.

Steve Perna (Director) is Chief Executive Officer for WiQuest Communications. He joins the team from PMC-Sierra, where he held positions of vice president of Marketing and, most recently, vice president and general manager of their Microprocessor and Service Provider Processor Divisions. During his 12 years at PMC-Sierra, Perna specialized in revenue growth and was instrumental in transitioning the company from a start-up status to achieving the #1 market position for several product lines while achieving high operating profits and high gross margin. Prior to joining PMC-Sierra, Perna spent 15 years at Texas Instruments where he held numerous marketing, management, engineering, wafer fab, operations, quality control and research roles for TI’s #1 worldwide Digital Logic semiconductor business. Perna received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame in 1980. Subsequently he received his Master of Science Degrees in both Electrical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Texas. In addition he received his Master of Business Administration in Marketing and Master of Science in Corporate Finance degrees from the University of Dallas.

Mark A. Stevens (Director) – US PARTNER, SEQUOIA CAPITAL – Mark focuses on semiconductor, software, systems and energy-related investments. Prior to joining Sequoia Capital in 1989, he held technical and field sales positions at Intel and was a member of the technical staff at Hughes Aircraft. Mark is a member of the Board of Trustees of the University of Southern California. In addition, Mark is a board member of the Venture Capital Advisory Board for the Fabless Semiconductor Association. Mark has a BS in Electrical Engineering, a BA in Economics and an MS in Computer Engineering from the University of Southern California and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Pravin A. Vazirani (Director) MANAGING DIRECTOR, MENLO VENTURES - Pravin joined Menlo Ventures in 2001. He began his career at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory where he designed digital receivers for satellite communications. Later he worked as an engineer for Pacific Communication Sciences, Inc. and as a product manager for ADC Telecommunications in their Wireless Systems Group. Most recently, he evaluated investment opportunities for @Ventures, the venture capital subsidiary of CMGI. Pravin represents Menlo Ventures on the boards of Credant Technologies, Sepaton and WiQuest. He is also involved with the firm's investments in NewScale, Netcontinuum, and Q1 Labs. Pravin is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering) and the Harvard University Graduate School of Business (M.B.A.).
